Who We Are
The Association of University Summer Sessions (AUSS) is a group of 50 colleges and universities that collaborate to support each other in the issues surrounding the organizing and operating of summer session programs.
I’m honored and excited to serve as president of the Association of University Summer Sessions for the 2025-2026 term. For over a century, AUSS has been the place where summer leaders come together to share what works, wrestle with what doesn’t, and reimagine what’s possible. That legacy of collaboration and innovation is something I deeply value and want to honor. As we move through this year together, I’m focused on strengthening our community and creating practical resources that help us all do our jobs better. I’m grateful to serve alongside you, I’m looking forward to what we’ll create together!

The Association of University Summer Sessions (AUSS) is an esteemed professional organization representing summer session administrators from leading universities across the United States and Canada. Recognized as a trusted authority in the field of summer study, AUSS promotes summer study in higher education institutions domestically and worldwide. Through our commitment to collaboration, we foster and support a wide range of cultural and intellectual programs that benefit students, faculty, and the broader communities they serve.
